Donation letter

Dear Bikers and Friends:

The Deaf Bikers of America Foundation Board is happy to let you know that this board is an active board; continuing the tradition of mutual love, camaraderie, and lifelong friendship through riding.   The board is also getting ready to work with the event chair for 2025 to have the BEST Sturgis Rally ever.   As a nonprofit foundation, incorporated in 2017 by the State of South Dakota, we are now more formalized and stronger as a foundation.  As you know, the mission of DBA is to educate the biker community and advocate for the benefit of deaf bikers through charitable donations and event sponsors for biker safety educational programs.  Most importantly is to secure the copyright of the brand – Deaf Bikers of America.

The Deaf community has had its own biking groups for some time, it was not until Deaf bikers started to mobilize together meeting in Sturgis every five-year starting in 2000.  Ever since, all of us rode from different parts of America just to get to Sturgis in 2005, then again in 2010 and 2015 – then 2020 that was rescheduled to 2021 due to pandemic.   We had so much fun meeting our friends near and far, including France and Canada that we decided to become a formal organization in order to accept donations to continue this tradition of fellowship.

We are doing this as a special appeal for you to donate whatever amount you could.  Be it $20.00, 50.00, 100.00, or more to contribute toward the 2025 Sturgis Rally and it is tax deductible.   Please remember each donation large or small does makes a difference.  Your contribution will be acknowledged on the DBAF website and a letter of acknowledgment.  The link button for donations is shown below.  If you want to mail your check, please make it out to:
